The founder of Money Doctors, financial adviser John Lowe, has died.
Mr Lowe, who was a regular columnist on RTÉ’s Lifestyle, died on Sunday at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin.
He was also the author of a number of books on personal finance, wrote numerous newspaper columns and was a regular contributor to radio programmes.
In a statement, Money Doctors said he was one of Ireland’s “most trusted and familiar voices on personal finance”.
It added that his “simple no-nonsense, practical approach” made him “a trusted presence in the lives of the thousands of clients he advised over the years.”
Money Doctors said Mr Lowe “will be dearly missed by his loving family, friends and all those who knew him through his love of music and sport and a wide range of interests outside of the world of finance.”
