Financial advisory firms SYS Financial has opened a new office in Claregalway in Co Galway, as part of its ongoing expansion across Ireland.

Located at Claregalway Shopping Centre, the new office strengthens SYS Financial’s presence in the west of Ireland, providing greater accessibility for clients in Galway and the surrounding areas.

The company said the new office marks another milestone in the firm’s continued growth and commitment to delivering tailored financial advice and support to individuals, families and businesses nationwide.

The opening builds on SYS Financial’s deal to buy Claregalway firm Q Financial earlier this year.

Ten team members joined SYS Financial as part of the acquisition, providing continuity for existing clients while supporting the firm’s continued growth in the region.

SYS Financial has completed ten acquisitions since 2025, with further acquisitions currently under discussion.

The firm has grown its assets under management (AUM) to well over €1.3 billion and plans to increase the size of its team to over 100 nationwide to meet the growing demand for its services.

“Opening our new Claregalway office is an important step in our continued growth and reflects our commitment to being accessible to clients right across Ireland,” Tony Delaney, the CEO of SYS Financial, said.

“Galway and the surrounding region offer significant opportunities for us to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones. As SYS Financial continues to expand, our priority remains the same: providing clear, tailored financial advice that helps individuals, families and businesses make informed decisions about their financial futures,” he added.

Opening the new office, Robert Troy, Minister of State at the Department of Finance, said that a strong financial services industry helps individuals and families plan for their futures, save for key life events, access finance, and build long-term financial resilience.

“By building on the industry’s enduring success, we can ensure that financial services continue to make a positive contribution to Ireland’s economy and society,” he added,
