Center Parcs has said a “small number” of jobs may be at risk at its resort in Ballymahon, Co Longford.
The company said it has begun a review of some of its structures “to make sure they remain right for our business today and for the future.”
“Sadly, this means a small number of roles may be at risk of redundancy,” a spokesperson said.
The company has not said how many jobs are at risk, however it is understood that around 20 roles could be impacted but that affected staff may be offered redeployment opportunities.
Center Parcs opened its 400-acre Longford Forest resort in July 2019 and currently employs around 1,300 people.
“We recognise the significant impact this uncertainty can have on colleagues and their families, and we are committed to supporting everyone affected with care and respect throughout the consultation process,” Center Parcs said.
The Department of Enterprise said it received a notification of proposed collective redundancies from Center Parcs Ireland on 5 October.
