Filtered water company Culligan Ireland is to create 54 jobs over the coming year, bringing its workforce to 250.
The expansion is part of what it said was a “significant investment”, following strong growth in demand for its water filtration and softening services.
Part of that investment will go towards the expansion of its delivery fleet, it said.
Culligan offers a range of products and services including water coolers, instant hot water taps and bottle refill stations.
The new roles include customer service staff, delivery drivers and technicians, with the company operating from depots in Dublin, Galway and Cork.
“We are fortunate to have high-quality, natural water sources in Ireland, but many still struggle to navigate hard water, limescale, chlorine and other contaminants,” said Culligan Ireland managing director John O’Connor. “Our investment enables us to sustainably enhance Culligan Ireland’s services and solutions for businesses and households across Ireland.”
Culligan said it hopes to further grow its employee numbers in the following years, bringing its workforce close to 300 by 2029.
