Irish fundraising, ticketing and membership platform Eventmaster, supported by investor BGF, has bought digital fundraising platform iDonate.<\/p>\n

The acquisition will combine Eventmaster’s event-management, ticketing and membership capabilities with iDonate\u2019s fundraising expertise, creating a single, end-to-end solution for charities, community groups, sporting organisations and event organisers.<\/p>\n

Eventmaster, led by founder and CEO John Cleary, has delivered strong growth in recent years, expanding its customer base and scaling its platform across fundraising, ticketing and membership services for organisations nationwide.<\/p>\n

While iDonate, under the leadership of CEO Alan Coyne has grown to become one of Ireland\u2019s best-known fundraising platforms<\/p>\n

As part of the transaction, Alan Coyne, CEO of iDonate, will continue with the combined business and will lead fundraising across the group, working alongside Eventmaster founder and CEO John Cleary and the wider team.<\/p>\n

The acquisition strengthens Eventmaster\u2019s fundraising proposition and broadens the combined group\u2019s ability to serve customers across multiple use-cases \u2013 from ticket sales and event registrations, to memberships and digital fundraising campaigns.<\/p>\n

John Cleary, Eventmaster, CEO said the deal represents a significant step forward for Eventmaster in both the domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n

“This acquisition re-enforces the position of Eventmaster as the industry leader across event participation ticketing and now fundraising in Ireland,” said Mr Cleary.<\/p>\n

The CEO of iDonate, Alan Coyne, said becoming part of the Eventmaster group allows them to accelerated their vision and expand what they can offer charities.<\/p>\n
