Healthcare services group Uniphar has made a good start to the year, with its performance in the first four months in line with the board’s expectations.

The company held its AGM in Dublin today

Maurice Pratt, Chairman of Uniphar, told shareholders that the company remains well positioned to deliver organic gross profit growth across each division in line with previous guidance and to deliver on expectations for the full year.

In his AGM address, the Uniphar chairman said that 2024 was another successful year for Uniphar.

“The group delivered very strong organic gross profit growth of 8.2%, driven by growth across each of our three divisions. Adjusted EPS growth was 12%, free cash flow conversion was strong at 105.5% and we maintained modest leverage at 1.5x,” he said.

He added that the company’s multi-year strategic capital expenditure in infrastructure and technology is progressing to plan.

“We now confidently expect at least 80% of our 2028 EBITDA target of €200m to be achieved through organic growth,” he stated.

He also said that sustainability continues to form a key part of Uniphar’s culture and business practices, and it continue to make progress across all five of its sustainability pillars.
