Irish-founded financial technology company Stripe has announced plans to create a further 200 new jobs at its Dublin headquarters.
The firm said it builds on significant hiring growth already in 2026.
Stripe now employs more than 1,000 people in Ireland, an increase of more than 35% since the start of the year.
The company, which was founded by Irish brothers Patrick and John Collison, opened a new Dublin headquarters in October 2025, tripling its physical presence to 14,500 square metres.
Stripe maintains global dual headquarters in San Francisco and Dublin.
Dublin is the hub for its operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as for developing products for Stripe globally.
“The continued expansion of our Irish team reflects both the strong demand for Stripe’s products and services in Europe, and Ireland’s status as one of the best places in the world to build and scale global operations,” said Eileen O’Mara, Vice Chair at Stripe.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke welcomed the announcement.
“As Ireland’s economy continues to evolve, companies such as Stripe play an important role in advancing new technologies, developing world-class expertise, and enhancing Ireland’s international competitiveness,” Mr Burke said.
Stripe is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
“Stripe’s plans to add another 200 staff, with 1,000 people already employed in Ireland, is a clear endorsement of Ireland’s highly skilled and deep talent base, and of Dublin’s position as a global international financial services and technology hub,” said Dónal Travers, Executive Director of IDA Ireland.
