Three Ireland makes two new senior appointments

Three Ireland has announced two senior leadership appointments, with Jon Davies named as its new Chief Technology & Innovation Officer and Sinéad O’Donnell appointed its Head of Corporate Affairs.

As Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, Jon Davies will have responsibility for Three Ireland’s network, technology architecture and innovation agenda.

Mr Davis has over 20 years of senior technology leadership experience across large‑scale telecommunications and digital transformation programmes in Ireland and the UK.

He was formerly Director of Digital & Innovation at Three UK and Director of Digital & Transformation at Vodafone UK and also held senior roles at Adobe, Orange and Eurostar.

Meanwhile, as Head of Corporate Affairs, Sinead O’Donnell will lead the company’s corporate communications, public affairs, business PR, press office and corporate social responsibility strategy.

Ms O’Donnell has over 20 years’ experience spanning journalism, agency and corporate communications. Before Three Ireland, she was Associate Director in the Corporate and Public Affairs practice at Wilson Hartnell (Ogilvy). She also worked as a journalist with companies including Newstalk and Virgin Media Television.

Three Ireland said today’s appointments reflect its continued focus on strengthening its leadership across technology, innovation and corporate affairs as the company advances its long‑term growth ambitions in the Irish market.
