Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Emerald Airlines, has announced a new service between Dublin and Inverness in Scotland from May of this year.

Starting on May 21, the new service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

The airline said the new route reflects its continued commitment to expanding its network by offering customers greater choice, convenience and connectivity between Ireland, the UK and beyond.

Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines, said he believes the new service will be warmly welcomed by both business and leisure travellers alike.
