Two Co Kerry accounting and advisory firms have joined forces in a strategic merger.

CSG Accountants & Advisors, which is based in Killarney, today announced a partnership with ORM Accountants, which is based in Tralee.

The firms will operate under the CSG name.

The move will result in staff numbers at the company increasing to 70 between its offices in Killarney and Tralee, while its client base will grow to 2,250 across Kerry and the wider Munster region.

CSG provides support to corporate groups, family businesses, hospitality and tourism operators, professional services, agri-businesses and sole traders, with services across tax, audit, payroll, outsourced finance, sustainability and strategic planning.

Managing Partner at CSG, Chris Murray, said that from a client perspective, “the day-to-day relationships remain exactly the same.”

“ORM clients will continue to be supported by the same trusted team in Killarney. What this merger does is strengthen the offering behind those relationships,” he added.

The Managing Director of ORM and incoming Director at CSG, John Mannix, said the merger represents “a natural progression for the firm.”

“Our clients value the fact that we understand their businesses, their families and communities,” he said.

“By joining CSG, we are further enhancing our ability to support clients in a rapidly changing business environment,” he added.
