The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) recorded a profit of €80 million between January and September last year.
The agency’s latest quarterly report shows that €207 million in cash was generated during the nine month period.
A further €386 million was generated between 1 October and 13 December, bringing total cash generated since inception to €48 billion.
Total lifetime transfers by NAMA to the Exchequer have now reached €4.65 billion.
€4.25 billion of that is from its lifetime surplus, while €400m is from corporation tax payments.
NAMA now expects its lifetime contribution to the Exchequer to be in the region of €5.2 billion.
In a update on NAMA’s residential delivery activity, the agency said it has delivered 41,528 new homes since 2014.
Of these, 14,420 homes were delivered directly through NAMA funding and 27,108 delivered indirectly on sites sold by NAMA debtors or refinanced.
Between 1 January and 20 December 2024, 202 new homes have been directly delivered by NAMA, with a further 240 to be directly delivered that are under construction.
NAMA is expected to conclude its work at the end of this year.
A resolution unit to manage residual NAMA activity from 2026 is to be set up in the National Treasury Management Agency.
