PTSB has said that a technical issue that impacted the bank’s website and mobile app has been resolved.
Throughout the day yesterday, customers were unable to access services and encountered error messages.
Last night, PTSB posted a message stating that the issue had been resolved.
“Some Android users may need to reinstall their app to log in,” the bank said.
“Apologies for the inconvenience caused. To support customers, our contact centre and several branches will open Friday 10am-2pm,” it added.
Last November, PTSB customers experienced payment delays due to a major technical issue with a third-party provider.
Announcing its results for 2024 in March, Chief Executive Eamonn Crowley said the bank has invested heavily in technology in recent years.
“We’ve invested €400m in the bank in the last five years, the vast majority in that is in the technology space,” Mr Crowley said.
