US software testing company Tricentis has announced the creation of 50 new jobs in Cork city.
The roles will be in areas including sales, engineering, finance, business operations and customer growth.
The company began operations in Cork in 2022 and is now planning to move to a new office space to accommodate its expanding team.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, with 26 offices globally, Tricentis provides AI-powered solutions to automate testing and improve software quality.
“Ireland plays a crucial role in our vision to drive Tricentis revenue over $1 billion and cement ourselves globally as the leader in software quality,” said Kevin Thompson, Tricentis CEO.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin visited Tricentis in Austin today.
“This investment highlights Ireland’s appeal as a hub for innovation and technology, supported by the strategic efforts of IDA Ireland,” Mr Martin said.
“During my meeting with the Tricentis team, I learned that the team in Ireland has led several initiatives to optimise Tricentis’ international business operations,” he added.
This project is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
“Tricentis’ decision to establish Cork City as an international hub is terrific news,” said CEO for IDA Ireland Michael Lohan.
“This decision highlights the South West region’s highly skilled and talented workforce,” Mr Lohan said.
